GERBER Multi-plier 600 - Needle Nose

Rating

Retail: $45

Lenth: 6.5"

Weight 8.6oz

Stainless steel with nylon sheath

Equipped wth:

Needle-nose pliers, wire cutter,
fine edge knife, serrated knife,
cross point screwdriver, small, medium,
flat blade screwdrivers, lanyard attachmnet,
can opener, bottle opener, file, and ruler

Strong stainless steel design and relative lightweight make this an excellent add-on to your fishing gear. The sheath has a belt-loop attachment and can be easily carried on the waist. The needle-nose pliers, while a little large when removing a hook from a very small fish's mouth, work well in most situations. All of the attachments open to the inside of the grips, leaving the outside grip free of protruding bits, making them comfortable to squeeze. We found the most useful tools for fishing to be the pliers and the fine-edge knife. A safety latch on the side of each of the handles locks each attachments positively in the full open position. When not in use, the plier head can be completely retracted into the grips.
Conslusion: This tool is an excellent addition to your fishing gear. Versatile, and corrosion resistant. At $45 it almost can't be passed up.
